They had roped in hundreds of gym boys for playing the soldiers and Kalakeyas as these gym boys look strong and powerful. These guys used to be present by 4 a.m. wearing their underwears and slowly put on the costumes, armour and other accessories, one by one.
Rama Rajamouli used to guide them through the process of getting ready like a soldier or a Kalakeya. There used to be more than 1500 soldiers and Kalakeyas. She lauded the efforts and the discipline of these gym boys who used to stand in line in the cold weather. One can understand how much hard work might have into every detail of the movie.
