RRR’s win at the Oscars has made our nation proud. All the credit must go to SS Rajamouli, NTR, Ram Charan, MM Keeravani, Prem Rakshit, Chadrabose, and the entire team of Naatu Naatu.
But there is another person who has worked tremendously off-screen to achieve the impossible. He is none other than Karthikeya.
MM Keeravani, in his acceptance speech at the Oscars, said that he was there on that stage, winning the award only because of Karthikeya. That speaks volumes about the efforts Karthikeya has put into achieving this impossible dream.
Karthikeya seems to have emerged as a strong support to share his father’s vision. He has been actively involved in the production of all SS Rajamouli movies for a decade. He was the person who closely monitored the RRR’s campaign in west.
We saw Rajamouli, NTR, and Ram Charan on the front doing aggressive campaigning for the Oscars, but behind the screens, it was Karthikeya who was running post to post and ensured that RRR reached all those people who mattered. He closely worked with Variance films in U.S.
Shobu Yarlagadda, the producer of Baahubali and a close friend of Rajamouli’s family, also tweeted, “A very special shoutout to SS Karthikeya, who, from behind the scenes, quietly lead an amazing campaign to be here today ! Great job Karthi! A big big congratulations !! You did it!!”
