A bright performer has fallen. It’s more than gut-wrenching to understand the conditions that took him away from the Cinema World where he made us cry, rage with anger, laugh etc. with his unbelievable performances that would remain in the Indian Film history forever.
While the Indian cinema is mourning the loss of Irrfan Khan, the first internationally acclaimed Indian actor, the funeral pics that surfaced on media will leave us emotional thinking how could fate crack such a cruel joke on an actor par excellence.
His mortal remains were buried at Versova Kabrastan (graveyard) in Mumbai with only his close family, friends and relatives in attendance for the last rites of the departed soul.
It’s extremely painful to see that he passed away just after the demise of his mother Saeda Begum. His last words were said to be, “Mother is here, and she came to take me with her.” Those words leave us thinking about the agony of his wife Supata and kids. May his soul rest in peace!
