Over a hundred Hollywood films released in India this year but out of all those sci-fi thriller Gravity emerged as the biggest hit. The film, which was about the story of a medical engineer and a veteran astronaut, who get stranded in space after their spacecraft is destroyed.
The film collected INR 40 crore in India and ran for over 50-days in several cities across the country. The film was raved by audiences and critics alike for delivering out of the world visual experience. Many felt that they were floating even after they left the cinemas.
Globally, too, Gravity was a big hit. The film’s biggest strength was its short running time of about 90 minutes. If you have missed this film in theatres, you have probably missed the best cinematic experience ever.
