Padi Kaushik Reddy, who has become a hot topic with the Huzurabad by-election, has recently joined the TRS ditching Congress party. Kaushik Reddy, who joined the party hoping for a Huzurabad ticket on behalf of the TRS, was offered an MLC post in Governor Quota.
Arrangements have been made for the same and the file recommending him as MLC was sent to the Governor. However, Governor Tamilisai has put the file on hold. There is no communication whatsoever about the appointment from Raj Bhavan.
During the interaction with the media on the occasion of completion of two years in office, the Governor said, “Yes, the Telangana cabinet has cleared but I have not yet. I need to study the nomination and be sure of the nominee. I think I can take some time. I am studying the matter as it is in the social service category”.]
Usually, Governors do approve all the recommendations of the Cabinet in such issues. But Tamilisai sitting on the proposal will definitely come as a big shock to Chief Minister KCR.
