The film Goutham Nanda with the very little promotion has opened well. It got more than 3 Cr collections with another blockbuster film running parallel.
The opening highlights the fact that actor Gopichand in the right commercial vehicle is still a potent star at the box office. Unfortunately for him, the scripts are letting him down. Goutham Nanda by Sampath Nandi is another such venture.
The weekend numbers thanks to the push by mass centers are likely to be decent, at best. But come Monday the prospects look bleak as a crash is imminent. The bad luck continues for Gopichand, and with his next couple of films being delayed productions, it doesn’t look like ending anytime soon.
