Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to hit the big screens on the 12th of January, marking the Sankranthi season. The film cleared the censor formalities today.
The final run-time that has been locked for the film is 170 minutes – 2 hours 50 minutes which is on the lengthier side, given that Veera Simha Reddy is a commercial potboiler.
For films with such lengthy run times, gripping narration will be the key. If the narrative is compelling enough, the run time won’t be a big issue. Balakrishna’s previous film, Akhanda also had a run time of close to 2 hours 50 minutes but it turned out to be a blockbuster.
Nandamuri fans are hoping that Gopichand Malineni delivers the goods with the mass entertainer now.
Veera Simha Reddy has been accredited with a U/A certificated by the censor board and it is now set for a grand theatrical debut next Friday.
The Gopichand Malineni directorial is funded by Mythri Movie Makers and it has Shruti Haasan in the leading lady role.
