Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has got a name across the nation for his visionary efforts as hi-tech CM. His efforts for making Hyderabad as a brand city has been highly recognized. The latest we hear on the IT front is Google MD met Naidu and had a closed door meeting. The out come of this meeting is very productive and Google will set up their Dev centre in AP soon. However, location details kept secret for now. It is heard that Naidu wants Google to work with Dwakra and other groups towards digital AP. There is a high possibility that Google may choose between Vizag and Vijayawada to set up their office.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu had approved a policy to create an innovative fund to attract new companies set up their IT shops in the state. So far about 300 IT shops including Tech Mahindra and Wipro have come forward and requested the state government for land allotment. It is heard that most companies are interested in Vizag or Vijayawada.
