Finally, the time has come for Rajinikanth fans to rejoice because his most awaited film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ will finally release worldwide May 9. The film, which was supposed to release in April, was moved to May following the announcement of the assembly elections. The makers have confirmed that the film will release on the scheduled date and there will be no further changes in the release date.

Ever since the news of the film’s release date, Rajini’s fans have flooded Twitter and Facebook with messages and hash tags. Now, all eyes are set on the big day as the film is set to release in nearly 6000 screes across the globe in six languages. Touted to be the first motion capture photo-realistic 3D animated film, the film features an ensemble cast of Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff and many more. Made on a budget of INR 125 crore, the film is said to be the most expensive Indian film ever to be made.
