Vijayawada already houses several swanky and ritzy multiplexes and now several other malls and multiplexes are coming up in the new capital region of Andhra Pradesh. These projects worth 1500 Crore will very soon turn the city into a mini-metro.
The Trendset Mall near the Benz Circle Junction is the biggest project so far in city and is nearing completion. The project alone costs 600 Crore and will have restaurants, play area, shopping and entertainment zones, a six-screen multiplex in addition to a 7-D theatre.
Already due to the existing multiplexes in the city, the single screen theaters are losing their sheen and they have totally changed the movie watching experience of the people in the city. Given that Vijayawada falls in the capital region of Andhra Pradesh, more such swanky malls are likely to come up here.
