On and off, Taapsee has been appearing in South movies, and to be honest, she is more successful, now than when she used to do exclusively South movies. Her next Telugu-Tamil bilingual ‘Game Over’ is coming to the theatres on 14th June.
Taapsee is quite confident on this genre-bending flick and claimed that the movie is going to blow everybody away. She is confident because she thinks that ‘Game Over’ has that potential, and therefore she assured the audiences that the movie would surpass the expectations.
Taapsee has done thrillers, before and this ‘Game Over’ is said to be the edge-of-the-seat thriller that would be a genre-bending film. The Delhi girl thinks that this is her come back movie in Telugu. Over the years, the actress has proved her mettle as a sensible actress with her choice of films that were essentially performance-oriented and quite challenging.
Let’s see if ‘Game Over’ comes out as one of her best movies. It’s directed by Ashwin Saravanan who directed the horror thriller ‘Maya’ in 2015 starring Nayanthara in the lead. Her brilliant performance actually won laurels for the film. Can we expect the same from Taapsee, as well?
