Actress Poorna, known for Telugu films ‘Seema Tapakai’ and ‘Avunu’ feels that glamour is important for an actress, but that alone doesn’t promise longevity in the industry. It should be a marriage of glamour and talent that will eventually help an actor sustain in the industry.
She says glamour may yield immediate attention and help catapult an actor to star image, but eventually his or her career is decided based on the simple fact what kind of roles they take up. She doesn’t mind doing glamorous roles, but adds that its very important to mix it up.
Currently, she is very busy in Tamil with three projects, but says she hasn’t ignored Telugu industry. She is also working on a Telugu film with Varun Sandesh, and will soon work on another film.
