Varun Tej‘s Ghani is releasing in theatres on 8th April and here is an interesting scoop pertaining to the ticket pricing model of the boxing drama.
As we reported a couple of days ago, a few multiplexes in Hyderabad opened bookings for Ghani with tickets priced at Rs 295. This might have resulted in considerable drops in footfalls. But the makers have now taken the right decision and have opted for a feasible pricing slab.
Now, Ghani ticket prices at multiplexes have been locked at Rs 200+ GST, and Rs 150+ GST at single screens.
For those citing RRR’s high pricing model, the film had a stellar combination of Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR. Other films might find it hard to register good footfalls if they go for a high pricing model as there is already a complaint from the common audience that the ticket prices in Telangana are abnormally high.
So, the makers of Ghani have dodged a bullet of sorts by going back to the old pricing model.
