A biopic is being made on student leader, George Reddy, of Osmania University. He was murdered in the campus by goons. Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU) has been formed post his death.
George Reddy is a much-revered figure among the students and a biopic on him, therefore, aroused curiosity. However, the trailer gives the impression that it might be all hot air and noise and very little dramatic content. The stress seems to be put on unsettling bits to shock the audience rather than take them in an introspective mood.
From the trailer, it looks like any generic collage-based action drama involving the politics. The lead actor seems to have given his best, but certainly lacks a magnetism that is so required for the role. On the positive side, the little that we see of action seems to be well done.
