Geetha Arts is one of the prestigious banners in the Telugu cinema that was initially seen as a home banner for Megastar Chiranjeevi. However, not many might be aware, but they have been associated with big stars and emerging actors from time to time. Earlier, it was through co-productions as Geetha Arts. Now, its changed to GA2 Pictures.
100 % Love was truly the first Geetha Arts venture outside the Mega heroes. At that point, there was no subsidiary banner GA2 aka Geetha Arts 2 Pictures. It came into prominence from Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi but even before that there were productions like Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham and Kotha Janta that were handled by Bunny Vasu with likely supervision of Allu Aravind.
The critical thing to note here is that Geetha Arts has managed to provide the career-best and game-changing blockbuster to non-Mega heroes as well. Be it Pelli Sandadi in the 90’s giving biggest break to Srikanth or the very latest Geetha Govindam. Those films can be seen as turning points for the respective heroes as a star.
Whatever may be the driving force, the fact that Allu Aravind through GA2 Pictures has been able to provide such a big platform to emerging actors needs to be appreciated. We wish them more success in the future as well. On a side note, it also shows that the respective actors have potential in the first place.
