Popular Telugu Production House, Geetha Arts forayed into the Digital Space. It has launched an OTT platform named ‘Aha’. The platform currently has some old blockbusters of Geetha Arts and they are also going to acquire films of the other production houses as well.
Allu Aravind launched this OTT platform in partnership with My Home Rameshwar Rao who already owns 10 TV and a major stake holder in TV9 channel.
It is interesting to note that they have launched a new company ‘Arha Media & Broadcasting Private Limited’ to enter the digital space. Arha is the daughter of Allu Arjun.
Arjun Suravaram is going to be the first ‘outside’ film but is yet to be live on the platform. Rumors are that Allu Arjun’s Blockbuster film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will also come on Aha.
It has to be seen if Aha can withstand the intense competition from Amazon Prime Video and other OTT apps.
