Filmmaker Gautham Menon’s style of film-making is quite different from the image superstar Rajinikanth has in films. Imagine a film in their combination and we can understand how different their combo would be.
In a recent media interaction, Gautham Menon revealed that he wanted to do a film with Rajinkanth and even approached the superstar before ‘Kabali’ happened. Gautham Menon was sure about starting his film with Rajini but everything had changed overnight.
The superstar chose director Pa Ranjith over Gautham Menon. But, after the result of ‘Kabali’, don’t you think that Gautham would have done better justice to a Rajini’s film.
Gautham Menon hopes that his dream would become true one fine day. Going by his different style of action and the style quotient he brings about in his films (like in Venky’s Gharshana), a film with Rajinikanth would be a refreshing for audiences and let’s hope that this combination would really work in future.
