The details regarding the earnings of all the prominent filmmakers in the southern film industry were published lately in a well-known media house which seems to have angered some of them. It was reported that directors Shankar and Murugadoss were the leading ones with their incomes ranging in crores.
Gautham Menon, a highly successful Tamil director has taken major offense to this report and questioned the legality and accuracy of the information stated in the report. He expressed his thoughts and feelings through the social networking website Twitter and was particularly displeased by the gossip concerning director Bala’s personal life.
He appealed to the media without any hesitation to just leave the directors alone and not focus on their private lives.
