Noted Tamil director Gautham Menon was in Hyderabad to promote his recently released film, Life of Muthu. As a part of promotions, Gautham gave interviews on several YouTube channels.
In one of the interviews, Gautham Menon received an unexpected question from the YouTuber. The not-so-smart anchor got confused between Mani Ratnam and Gautham Menon ( in reference to Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Nawab in Telugu), and asked him how difficult was it for him to bring so many stars like Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Aravind Swamy together for a film like Nawab, which was actually directed by Mani Ratnam.
Without any change in his expression, Gautam quickly replied in a satirical way that it wasn’t difficult because he was Mani Ratnam and stars report on his sets on time, unlike Gautham Menon.
Indirectly Gautham trolled the naive YouTuber for making such a silly mistake without being rude. The video clip is now making rounds on social media platforms.
Hope the YouTubers do some home work before interviewing any celebrity.
