If the latest news doing the rounds in the film industry is to be believed a film is soon on cards in the combination of none other than Akkineni Nagarjuna and stylish director Gautam Menon. And what is more interesting is that this film is the same that is in talks currently to be made with Tamil star Ajith as well. It’s a film on the lines of Gharshana and Raghavan says sources.
Nagarjuna who is going through a harrowing phase finally seems to have realized the importance of working with a top line director. The actor is believed to be looking at some such combinations in the near future to regain his lost glory and this project is rumored to be the beginning of things to come. Other cast and crew details are expected to be announced when the film would be officially launched. But as it’s by Gautam Menon a careful approach has to be adopted as in the past numerous films have failed to take off even after announcements from the director.
In the past too Tamil film Mankatha (Gambler) was planned as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil where Nagarjuna and Ajith were to swap the lead roles in Telugu and Tamil. However as Nagarjuna was busy with prior commitments he couldn’t take up the project and actor Arjun was roped in his place in Tamil where as Telugu version was shelved.
