The title Valmiki was changed overnight to Gaddalakonda Ganesh, but it did not have any bearing on the audience. In fact, the sudden change only helped in the awareness of the movie, which opened with packed houses all over.
Word of mouth has helped Gaddalakonda Ganesh sustain the day with housefuls registering all over. The opening day collections are around 5.7 Cr in the Telugu states.
