rakshasudu and pandaga movies talkFilm making isn’t an easy job and a lot of hard work goes into it besides financial gambling. It’s an irony that verdict on the film depends on one fateful Friday; a Friday which makes or breaks a film’s fate at box-office. This Friday, May 29, two different films hit theatres aka ‘Pandaga Chesko’ and ‘Rakshasudu’.

While ‘Pandaga Chesko’ got stamped as a routine film showing Ram in the same cliched manner we’ve seen him in earlier movies, Suriya’s ‘Rakshasudu’ is definitely a creative piece from a star hero like Suriya. Bud sadly a creative film like ‘Rakshasudu’ and a template movie like ‘Pandaga Chesko’, both have received mixed talk.

The genres of both the films are totally poles apart. A Vikram Prabhu’s film has always garnered good buzz for his treatment and handling creative subjects in Tamil. But for ‘Rakshasudu’, the narrative and the flow got affected in a bit negative way because of the clumsiness in the screen play.

Coming to Gopichand Malineni, he has never shown any creativity but survived on recycled story lines and repeated the same for ‘Pandaga Chesko’ not anyway better than his earlier formulaic films. In one case it’s the clumpsy screenplay and in the other case, it’s the routine fare which earned two staring contrasts earning same kind of response.
