In a shocking incident, Tollywood producer Suresh Babu has been deceived by a conman posing as Telangana Health official. The conman duped the producer in the pretext of having a coronavirus vaccine and get his entire staff vaccinated. The fraudster had cheated the producer to the tune of Rs 1 lakh. Going into the details, the fraudster called up Suresh Babu’s office and informed that he has vaccines available for coronavirus.
The fraudster made Suresh Babu’s manager convinced of having coronavirus vaccines available and asked to deposit an amount of Rs 1 lakh. The said amount was immediately transferred by the manager. Subsequently, the manager called up the fraudster which remained unanswered.
Realising that he has been duped, the manager reached out to Jubilee Hills and lodged a complaint. The police have swung into action and arrested the fraudster. The conman has also duped many other people in the past and on health grounds have been cheating people.
Meanwhile, the state government has lifted the lockdown restrictions with the number of cases subsiding. WIth this, Tollywood also sprung up in action with biggies like RRR having resumed shooting. Many filmmakers have also kickstarted the shoot and are planning for promotions for films like Acharya and Pushpa 1.
