Post his entry, Mahesh Babu struggled until Okkadu happened that sealed the deal.
2. Pokiri
Pokiri took the stardom of Mahesh Babu several notches higher. From Prince Mahesh Babu, he became Superstar Mahesh Babu. The true heir to Superstar Krishna has finally arrived with an Industry Hit. If Okkadu established Mahesh Babu as a star, then Pokiri brought him superstardom. It coming on the back of well-loved Athadu is a crucial piece of chronology that needs to be kept in mind.
3. Dookudu
Post Pokiri, things didn’t go as planned, and apprehensions were cast on ‘Superstar’-dom of Mahesh Babu. Dookudu ended that debate. Dookudu gave the first-week state records, which were missing until then. He would then follow it up with Businessman and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (WW). Mahesh Babu is the only star in his generation to have hat-trick first week worldwide opening records.
4. Maharshi
The final name on the list is an important one. Until Maharshi, no film of Mahesh Babu, which has opened with negative talk, has survived at the box office.
