Not one, or two, but a total of four big-ticket films, namely, Bheemla Nayak, Valimai, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and 83 are in the offing for the Indian OTT audience. These four films cater to four major language audiences in the country.
Bheemla Nayak is streaming on Aha Video and Disney+ Hotstar now. The Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer is a powerful actioner. It obviously caters to the Telugu audience. The film is directed by Saagar K Chandra and the screenplay is penned by Trivikram.
Valimai is a Tamil action thriller featuring Ajith Kumar in the lead role. It fared relatively well in the Tamil market and bombed big time in other languages. The film struggles mostly due to the over the top sentimental scenes in the latter half. It is directed by H Vinoth.
83 is a Hindi language biographical sports drama with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone essaying the lead roles. It took quite a while for the film to arrive on OTT following its OTT release. It is finally available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The film makes for a decent watch on OTT.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the biggest global box office blockbuster following the Covid 3rd wave. The film is lapped by Marvel Universe fans. The film made its digital debut on Vudu. The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray will stream from 12 April.
