Airlift is a film set in the background of evacuation of indians from the Kuwait during the 1990 Gulf War. This is the biggest civialian evacuation in which around 1,70,000 believed to fled to India. The entire operation is coordinated by Ranjit Katyal whose real life character Akshay Kumar Portrays in this film.
