Varun Tej, one of the young heroes from the Mega compound is eight films old with his ninth a mass fare coming this week.
Out of those eight he made the mass attempt only once in Puri’s Loafer which bombed badly and was successful with his last, F2 and now is coming as Gattalakonda Ganesh, a full-fledged mass role in Harish Shankar’s Valmiki.
Despite ups and downs in the graph of his career, the actor chose a different route unlike other mega heroes and got some recognition that way apart from depending on the mega-brand. Now Valmiki is one of those brave attempts of Varun to play a negative shade and he totally swept the audience off their feet with his super mass look. The trailer and the promotional material of Valmiki were promising so far and the rest depends on the performances and the story.
It is no new story but the remake of the Tamil hit Jigarthanda, a crime mass outing, unlike Loafer which was a routine, mass film that failed badly. So with all things falling into place now, will he get his first mass break? let’s see. The wait is not long, it’s coming this Friday.
