After a lot of speculations and ambiguity, Naga Chaitanya has alloted two days for the makers of ‘Mahanati’ to shoot some crucial scenes on 14th and 15th March. After a long wait, director Nag Ashwin got the nod from Akkineni descendant.
He is going to reprise the role of his grandfather Akkineni Nageswararao in ‘Mahanati’ Savithri’s biopic. Important scenes from Savithri-ANR combo films will be shot on Chay and Keerthy Suresh who will be seen playing the title role.
Earlier, the makers wanted to go digital when there was no confirmation from Chay to play his grandfather. There had been a talk that the director and the producers wanted to approach Jr. NTR to play Sr. NTR. However, the buzz died down and it’s clear that NTR’s scenes will be shot digitally.
