The Telugu remake of ‘Drishyam 2’ was officially launched and we know, the director of the original, Jeethu Joseph is helming the remake, as well. Now, there is a surprise and it’s the inclusion of Rana Daggubati in the remake.
There is an Inspector General of Police character in the Malayalam movie that was reprised by Murali Gopi. Rana Daggubati will be playing that role. This is a good piece of news for Daggubati fans who have been waiting to see both Venky and Rana sharing the screen space.
Given the importance of the IG of Police character in the sequel, we would expect the combo to be a blast on the screen. The combination portions will be a treat for fans. No doubt, there might be some tweaks in the narrative keeping the soul of the sequel intact.
