Tollywood sees its fair share of debutantes every year. This year Former Miss India Simran Kaur Mundi is all set to rock the Tollywood with a Manchu Manoj starrer film “Potugadu”. In a recent interview, Simran talked candidly and shared her feeling regarding her debut film.
Simran explained that she has always been fond of South Indian cinema and wished to work here some day specially in regional films as much as possible. So, when the casting team of Potugadu was in Mumbai to audition for their lead actress, Simran called on them and was chosen for the role. The former Miss India is very excited with this new turn of her career.
As for her role in the film, Simran is playing the character of a traditional Brahmin girl. The role is completely de-glam role and Simran had to wear half saris in the film.
