Fans and movie lovers alike fondly remember Fidaa, which recently completed its first anniversary. While mostly, it is for Sai Pallavi and the lead pair chemistry, there is another factor that makes Fidaa long-lasting in people’s memory. It is the music by Shakthikanth Karthik.
The album of Fidaa was a massive success, and one can still hear it around the corner. It’s success increased expectations and pressure on the musician for his follow up, the Ravi Teja starrer Nela Ticket. Shakthikanth Karthik failed to make masses sway to his tunes.
Now, he is back again with a new album, Happy Wedding. The Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika, starrer has the music director in his comfort zone, and he delivers. There are only four songs, but they are all very good with one, Kaadhani, being an instant classic. If these songs are picturized well, they are sure to help the movie’s cause theatrically. Happy Wedding hits cinemas on July 28th.
