In Tollywood, Anushka Shetty became the care of address for essaying powerful roles in women-centric movies. Some of them clicked and some of them bombed big time. So, Anushka isn’t going to jump to conclusions just because she was offered a remake of a blockbuster women-centric movie.
Yes, she rejected playing the lead role in the remake of ‘Queen’ which was being made in four South indian languages. The Hindi film might have scored a big hit in Bollywood but it may not have the same repeat success when made in Telugu and other regional languages.
Moreover, Kangana’s performance in the movie gave her a big boost and won her lot of appreciation for her fine acting. It is really hard to match Kangana’s performance as when such characters are delivered to perfection, a lot of comparisons would be drawn.
