sos-kanchana-uttama villain-ok bangaram, Fear of SOS-is it necessary?Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s new movie Son of Satyamurthy is all set to release in a big way on April 9. This is without any doubt the first major release of Tollywood summer which officially commenced from this week. The anticipation on the film is huge due to the combinations at play here.

What however might slip a regular folk is how the release date of the film is impacting other releases. Already a big Kamal Haasan film has been readjusted to a later date and it looks like few other movies many be similarly adjusted by a week. Does Satyamurthy has such a fearful impact to make these changes or is it the other way?

Well one can see it both ways as of now and that’s why no one, including the makers of SOS, is taking any risk. The film has been sold at huge price and if the talk isn’t that favorable then it will surely need all the space it can to recover as much as it can. On the other hand if it gets the desired talk then it is bound to eat into the pockets of other releases too. Sources say the talk is leaning more towards the former scenario right now though.

The biggest factor that we often forget is that it’s the summer and unlike other festival periods it can accommodate multiple films and still succeed. We have seen it happen in the past and we hope it’s such a summer where everyone gets to have a smile at the end of it all. Surely the industry wouldn’t mind!
