The latest Mega hero on the block from the younger segment is Vaisshnav Tej. He made a smashing blockbuster debut with Uppena. And now, he is carefully planning his next steps. One can already sense that he is avoiding the mistakes made by his brother, Sai Dharam Tej, in this regard.
Post the phenomenal success of Uppena, Vaisshnav Tej has not been quick to sign any project. He is taking his time, even though banners are set. Among the two, he has finally okayed a subject for one production house.
Vaisshnav Tej’s next after Uppena is said to be a sports genre flick. He is expected to play a hockey player. The idea behind the film is clear. Vaisshnav Tej don’t want to get stuck in a commercial trap so soon.
In a way, Vaisshnav Tej seems to be taking the approach of Varun Tej, who started out doing varied stuff. However, Vaisshnav Tej might be taking it a notch higher.
A debutant, Prudhvi will direct the sports drama. Annapurna Studios that assures quality productions will be backing the project. Other cast and crew details will be known later once there is an official announcement.
