Ever since the official announcement of SSMB28, a film in the combination of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas, it is hitting the headline for one reason or the other. However, there is a common point as of now that needs some attention.
Right after the announcement, there is a lot of talk about the heroines (Pooja Hegde, Janhvi Kapoor, Disha Patani, Nidhi Agarwal) and the genre of SSMB28. Will it be a family drama or an action entertainer, or something else? It is the underlying point that is getting a lot of traction.
So far, all the pointers related to heroine (and two of them), and supposedly presence of senior actress are making one think if Trivikram is giving the family drama a lot of weight?
The previous two films in Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas combination were Athadu and Khaleja. Both were different and unique for the respective times. The former was an action thriller at heart despite a lot of family emotions. The latter was a unique drama with tremendous entertainer value.
The fans hope Trivikram Srinivas will again create such a unique blend even if he picks multiple heroines reminding his recent movie choices. They expect the core content would be unique and different from all the recent outing of the director. Well, only time will tell if Trivikram can deliver to their expectations again for the third time?
The regular shoot of SSMB28 is expected to begin from August, if there are no Covid-19 related issues. It will hit cinemas in summer 2022, then.
