She stole the show with her powerful appearance and body language. Her dialogues were like resonating whenever she gave an ‘order’ in the story. Ramya says that there is more yet to come in the second part of the movie.
Initially pan-Indian actress sridevi was offered the role, but it is learnt that she rejected the offer demanding huge remuneration, for which the makers had to move on and choose Ramya Krishna. However after watching Ramya Krishna on screen as powerful Shivagami, fans are elated that Sridevi rejected the offer and it went to Ramya Krishna.
When compared to the latest posters of Sridevi from her upcoming Tamil fantasy film ‘Puli’, fans feel that the yesteryear diva now looks aged and she couldn’t have done what Ramya did for the character of Shivagami. Ramya Krishna’s presence certainly added a lot which Sridevi wouldn’t have done though she also is a great actress. But for such kind of roles with authority, Ramya suits better. As she rightly says, she did the character from the bottom of her heart.
