Famous lyricist, Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, has spoken at the Lok Satha’s party meeting today. He has delivered an insightful speech about the politics these days and how politicians failed to keep their promises.
It’s time we stopped believing that the leaders we’ve voted for will someday, sometime bring a drastic change in our nation and take it to supreme heights. They will not do it and we know that. We’ve trusted them twice already, in vain, and it is time we wake up and choose a real, genuine leader, he said.
Speaking about Jayaprakash Narayana, he said that JP is a man who has studied very hard to crack IAS, though he had opportunities to study something else and earn a lot, a man who doesn’t care much about properties and money, but is very determined to work for the development of the nation.
