Brahmotsavam is the new film of Superstar Mahesh Babu coming right after the blockbuster success of Srimanthudu. And it has all the makings of a blockbuster, but what about the openings? Let’s have a look at it.
Initially thought to not have a big opening Brahmotsavam is now looking at surprising one and all. The film is getting superb response among the movie lovers which is pumping up the distributors as well. Take the case of Nizam where the distributor had made sure record numbers are possible to Brahmotsavam on opening day.
There are few areas however like Uttar Andhra, Nellore and Ceded where a big release seems to be not possible. The reason is simple, because of other releases still running successfully. It also is not getting hires in high numbers due to the same reason.
In short, the numbers in Nizam would be huge with possibility of Brahmotsavam emerging the second best. But in other areas the film is looking to fall short and stay on Srimanthudu level. Combine these and we get Brahmotsavam just about managing to topple Srimanthudu. With still enough time left to release, if there is an uptick in screens and hires, opening could go even higher for sure. A Baahubali or Sardaar Gabbar Singh sort of opening day looks out of picture as of today.
