Amala Paul’s luxury car (Mercedes Benz) worth 1.2 crores seems to be causing her a lot of trouble. While the actress went to a lot of trouble to register it in Puducherry instead of Kerala to evade a lot of tax, it seems to be costing her a lot!
Amala had given the address of a single room on the top floor of a three-story building as her home in the registration paper of the car. She claims to have been living here for the last year. However, when officials went to search the place, it was found that it was a bare room with no basic facilities like a bathroom. According to the building owner Umesh, the room has been on rent to Amala for a year. While he claimed to have a copy of the rent contract, he failed to produce it before the officials.
While the enquiry over the matter is still going on, preliminary evidence seems to show that there is something shady about the whole process!
