Rakul Preet Singh had a blast in Bollywood playing the 20-year-old who falls in love with a divorced 50-year-old Ajay Devgn and she apparently had fun romancing an older character, Nagarjuna in Manmadhudu 2.
First, the De De Pyar De makers wanted her to do it with an older man as the script demands, then even Manmadhudu 2 wanted her fall for an elder character.
Her role in both the films look similar, just a young girl dating a man double her age. But both the roles are far different and she loved playing Avanthika in Manmadhudu 2 as Rakul says. She has been trolled badly for what the trailer showed her doing, the smoking, the drinking and the double meaning dialouges.
Of course, Rakul never bothered about those negative comments and says she is a non-smoker and non-alcoholic. She did it all for the film and there is nothing wrong in it as she says. Directed by Chi La Sow fame Rahul Ravindran, Manmadhudu 2 is going to hit screens on 9th August.
