Very clearly, ‘Rx 100‘ is heading towards being a blockbuster in the Telugu States and even in the US, it has collected $43 K from the three days. It came with an unknown cast and the promos of the movie with bold content did the trick for the movie directed by a debutante.
The makers of the movie had minted more than what they had invested. Coming to the mega hero’s debut movie ‘Vijetha’, it’s a big disappointment for Kalyaan Dhev. Vijetha grossed $21 K from the three days (Wednesday to Friday). Though superficially the numbers are very low for both the films, it is still the double figure for ‘Rx100’.
Karthi’s Friday release ‘Chinna Babu’ is also posting very low numbers in the US $13K, both Telugu and Tamil version, together. So, at the end of the day, ‘Rx 100’ is emerging as the blockbuster among the films released this week.
