entry taxex in andhra and telanganaThe levied entry tax by both the state governments on each other’s vehicles is burning a hole in the pockets of common people on both the sides. The significant increase is on the bus tickets especially private buses are looting people since there is no restrictions on them. The prices have gone up by almost 50% to 100%. As many as 120 items are being transport between both the states and their prices are soaring high.

The daily used pulses have gone up by 20-25% while fruits and vegetables went up by 25%. Cement prices went up by 60-70 Rupees a bag while transporting of paddy per tonne increased by 150-200 Rupees. Most of the imports and exports of both the states are done through Kakinada, Vishakapatnam and Krishnapatnam ports and very little percent through Hyderabad Airport.

Interestingly, this will only bring some 50-60 Crore income for year for each state but will rob Crores of money from the commoners. Transportation in both the states is also likely to be affected as companies would prefer railways for transportation going further.
