Athiloka Sundari Sridevi’s Comeback movie, English Vinglish is going places. The movie will now be releasing this weekend in Hong Kong with Cantonese and English subtitles this weekend across 7 screens with 29 shows daily which is the biggest release for a Hindi film in the region. The dubbed version of English Vinglish will also hit Germany across mainstream cinemas with 20 prints in May 2013.
The film was directed by Gauri Shinde and it was Sridevi’s comeback film in Hindi after a long gap. Adil Hussain played Sridevi’s husband and Priya Anand was cast as Sridevi’s neice. English Vinglish revolves around a housewife who wants to learn English to impress her family.
