Enforcement-Directorate-Vijay-DeverakondaLiger has done a whole lot more bad than good to everyone involved. After the box office disaster, the makers and Vijay Deverakonda himself are facing a legal challenge pertaining to the investments in the film.

The latest news is that Vijay Deverakonda is currently being interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with FEMA (foreign exchange management act).

Vijay is being grilled about his remuneration for the film and also about the alleged payments of sourcing of funds for the production of the multi-lingual project.

As per reports, the ED had initially identified that the funds pooled in for Liger’s production were first sent to Dubai and then laundered to India. Reportedly, there’s a Telangana-based politician involved with all this.

Puri Jagannadh and Charmme were already investigated by the ED regarding the alleged foreign investments in Liger. And now, it is Vijay’s turn to face the questioning. He is currently at the ED office in Hyderabad.
