Popular music director of Bollywood Sohail Sen, who has given music for the biggie like Ek Tha Tiger starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, has been roped in to provide music for the Telugu remake of blockbuster Bollywood film Oh My God. The music director is on a high currently after recently delivering another sensation album in the form of Gunday as well.
The excited music director was in Hyderabad recently to meet the producers of the remake and officially sign the dotted line. Sohail Sen didn’t reveal any details about the project but said that he was very lucky to get such a project for Tollywood debut. He also shared an interesting fact that he wouldn’t be listening to Telugu songs of any kind so that he isn’t influenced by them. He wants to bring in a fresh sound to the industry with his own mark and that’s why this tough decision, revealed the music director.
In the past few Bollywood music directors like Shankar Ehsan Loy (Koncham Istham Koncham Kastham) and Vishal Sekhar (Chintakayala Ravi) made their Tollywood debut with great hype but they weren’t that successful. Let’s hope Sohail Sen breaks the trend with the aid of Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan.
