EK Mini Katha - OTT.- Amazon Prime VideoMany films which were supposed to have theatrical releases have got postponed, owing to the second wave. The state government has ordered for shut down of theaters and with no respite in the offing, some of the films are opting to have digital release via OTT platforms.

A medium-budget film, Ek Mini Katha was supposed to have a theatrical release on April 30. The adult comedy is now said to go for digital streaming via Amazon Prime Video which is touted to be in the first week or second of May.

Amidst this, Ek Mini Katha is making bizarre headlines that Amazon Prime has bagged the rights for a whopping Rs 9 crores. This has come as a shocker among netizens who are pondering how Amazon can shell out huge bucks for a medium budget.

The actor Santosh Shoban doesn’t command popularity and is relatively a new face. With no star presence and UV Creations banner the only big name attached with it, it would have made sense if it would have struck Rs 4 crores deal.

Film buffs are now making a mockery of this fancy deal considering it a bizarre hype by the makers to catch the attention of the cinephiles. A section on social media is also stating that if the news turns true, then Amazon Prime Video should better shut down as such an investment is absurd.
