The trailer of UV Concepts first quirky entertainer Ek Mini Katha is out. The movie centres on a bold premise implied via the title, but now we have a full-throttle look at it courtesy of the trailer. It is an all-out entertainer based on the ‘bold’ point.
All the promotional material so far related to Ek Mini Katha have been linked to size. It is now entirely given clarity via the trailer. Once that is done, what is critical is how it’s used in the narrative. We get a glimpse of that too.
Ek Mini Katha is made as a laugh out loud entertainer taking the bold content. It is used judiciously and without going overboard based on the trailer. All the actors look spot-on for the part, and Santosh Sobhan as the main lead looks perfect.
The key here would be to get the right balance of entertainment and an undercurrent emotion. The latter is also essential to get a wholesome feeling. We have to see if that is the case or not. Films like these (with unique, quirky plot) are what urban comedies are made off in other industries. It is good to see that in Telugu cinema as well with a different untouched story.
