The fact that the makers needed a second trailer should be a clear indication in understanding the kind of reception the trailer received. It was bad, and the response was disastrous in the online world. Keeping that in mind, a brand new second trailer is out making amendments to the first one.
Unfortunately, the second trailer too isn’t that good. It is a slight improvement over the first one but the second trailer fails to get the right impression. In fact, it makes matter worse as it gives a feeling that if this is the best that they can come up with to promote the film? Imagine what the rest of the movie might be containing.
If the idea was to show the entertainment, that too has not been achieved here. There have been few examples recently where trailers were brilliant, and the films were utter crap, and the reverse also happened few times. Here’s hoping that the latter is the case with Duvvada Jagannadham.
