Many filmmakers are eyeing for Dasara release. Being the best festive period and on top of it, magnum opus RRR leaving the slot, many filmmakers are eager to lay stakes to cash in on the perfect festive slot.
Mega hero Vaishnav Tej’s Kondapolam and Akhil Akkineni’s Most Eligible Bachelor are locking horns on the same date – October 8. Now, the latest to make a surprise entry is Drushyam 2. It is rumoured that Venkatesh Daggubati’s thriller Drushyam 2 is eyeing for Dasara festive season – October 13. However, an official announcement is awaited.
It is worth mentioning that back then Venkatesh’s Narappa skipped theatrical release much to the disappointment of fans. It was believed that Suresh Babu would also follow suit with Drushyam 2.
With things back to normalcy and no big competitor, Drushyam 2 if it gets released during festive time may set cash registers ringing. However, Balakrishna’s Akhanda is also rumoured to release on October 13.
