Late Dasari Narayana Rao’s son continues to be in news for the wrong reasons. It is Dasari Arun Kumar who under the influence of alcohol created a ruckus with his car. Several vehicles were wrecked as he drove and rammed the car at mad speed and under the influence of alcohol.
According to Banjara Hills police, Dasari Arun drove to Syed Nagar on Banjara Hills Road No. 12 around 10:30 pm on Wednesday. At the time, he was intoxicated and crashed into a two-wheeler on the side of the road. Syed Afzal Ali’s two-wheeler belonging to the same Basti was completely destroyed in the incident.
He then lodged a complaint against Dasari Arun Kumar at the Banjara Hills police station. Four other vehicles were destroyed along with his vehicle, the complainant said. To this extent, the police have registered cases against Arun Kumar under Sections 279, 336, Motor Vehicles Act as well as Drunk and Drive cases.
It was in this context Dasari Arun Kumar appeared directly before the Banjara Hills police on Thursday.
